WARRIORS
PROJECT
An Army Rising Up
Warriors Project Recovery Services, Treatment Placement & Recovery Housing.
Randy Baker at the Ark Exhibit in Kentucky
The Warriors Project ministry was founded by William "Tiny" Lawson in 2010 with the mission verse from the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:1-14 "The Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones" and characterizing the ministry as a band of brothers and sisters waging war against the disease of addiction and life's struggles. An army rising up freeing themselves from bondage, and delivering themselves from their affliction with the blood of Jesus Christ. He would later find a Pastor for the ministry, becoming a disciple himself by teaming up with Pastor Randy Baker and eventually setting roots at Akron Bible Church in 2012.
As the ministry and it's meetings grew over the years with many different walks of life including those who ride with in the motorcycle community. The Warriors Project and its members would form a motorcycle ministry of Jesus loving recovery advocates called the Recovery Mafia.
Today the Warriors Project is now ABC's Sunday evening service consisting of powerful testimonies from those who have battled with addiction and other forms of trauma with the mission verse John 10:10.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have life,
and that might have it more abundantly. - John 10:10
